Victims of Fake News

Outside the old city walls, across the (older?) olive groves,

Since the late 4th century, the Church of San Salvatore sits.

Four years running, in fair weather & foul, we’ve made the pilgrimage.
And never once have we crossed it off of our world heritage to-do list.

Four weeks ago, a traveling blogger touts visiting the site.
Chalk it up to “fake news,” I suppose, as these pictures disclose.

“Once, twice, three times …”
A lady is always charmed
When she hears a song
From days of courting.

Once, twice, three times?
Maybe, Rebecca gets lucky
Once & wins Trivial Pursuits
Only not with singers & lyrics.

Strains americano from Civico 53:
(It names an address on the street;
Presents a word hard to pronounce)
They remind us of old times & home.

Around the city, sculptures from the 1962 exhibition remain.
Within another post, I account for my photographic ambition.

This year, the first shot that I like was from a candid moment.

I’m “all in” when it comes to “promoting spring.”

Just worried the sign points Rebecca toward Euros,

When “a paper in the sun” is the idea I’m promoting.

It wouldn’t take Columbo fifteen seconds to solve this case.
